Friday, June 14, the organization «Support Sudan Uprising Initiative Norway» arranged a demonstration in Oslo.
Tjen Folket Media has earlier written about the ongoing uprising in Sudan, and the authorities’ brutal attack on the demonstrators. You can read more about this here:
Sudan: Brutal Attack on Demonstrations
Demonstration in Oslo
The demonstration was in support for the masses who are rebelling in Sudan, and took place outside of the embassies of the regime’s supporters in Egypt and the UAE.
The demonstrators presented a letter to the Egyptian embassy.
In addition to the organizers of the demonstration, the Struggle Committee in Oslo also joined.
The demonstrators shouted slogans in support for the uprising. In particular, the demonstration called for the court martial of the Sudanese regime’s representatives, a stop to the government’s systematic use of rape, and a stop to the killing of demonstrators and opposition. They demand that the government step down and that the military junta be replaced by a civilian government.
