That imperialists have their own agenda does not change the standpoint of communists – namely that it is right to rebel against reactionaries.
After the terrorist attack and the murder of the attacker’s sister, we send our condolences to the family and friends of the victims. We honor and commend the heroes who overpowered the murderer while unarmed. We call for struggle against the fascists’ organizations, ideologies, and apologists – from SIAN and the Nazi group NMR, to Sylvi Listhaug and Tybring Gjedde. And not least – we shame the system, the prime minister and the police, and we call for a fight against the very basis of Islamophobia: imperialism and the bourgeois state.
Today, June 4, marks 30 years since Chinese authorities cracked down on political unrest in 1989. In the Spring of 1989, China was characterized by protests and demonstrations. These were oriented against the authorities and had several sources of inspiration. Deep within the ruling “communist party” there had been powerful forces for change, generally leaning towards liberalization.
We are launching the new site on 18. February, an important date in Norway’s history. On 18. February 1973, the foundation of Arbeidernes Kommunistparti (marxist – leninist) [Workers’ Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist)] was made public. The party was a part of the new communist movement in the 1970s, following the Communist Party of China in its international campaign under the banner of Mao Zedong Thought against the Soviet Union’s modern revisionism.
