Comrade Özgür and comrade Asmin are two new martyrs in the People’s War in Turkey. They were both leading combatants in TIKKO, Özgür was a TIKKO commander and member of TKP/ML. Our Turkish comrades has thus lost four fighters in about one month, and we urgently encourage our readers to intensify solidarity with the Turkish revolution.
In a statement the Communist Party of Turkey/Marxist–Leninist (TKP/ML) writes that the Turkish fascist state carried out a bombing campaign between 1. and 4. october with drones, F-16 fighter jets and helicopters, where comrade Özgür and comrade Asmin was immortalized.
According to the family of comrade Asmin, the fascist forces has beheaded comrade Özgür and comrade Asmin. Tjen Folket Media condemns this heinous desecration of the deceased, and send our heartfelt condolences to the revolutionary movement in Turkey and to the survivors of comrade Özgür and comrade Asmin.
Turkish comrades has made a call for a public meeting in Strasbourg tomorrow 10. october to expose the Turkish fascist dictatorship for its war crimes and desecration of the bodies of dead fighters.
Still one month after the immortalization of the comrades Nubar and Rosa, the Turkish fascist state refuse to return the bodies of the deceased to their families so they may hold funerals. This is how the fascist state of Erdogan, the US lakey, employ the most primitive and heinous methods in waging black terror against the Turkish masses, and mainly the revolutionary movement.
Tjen Folket Media encourage all our readers to provide all possible support and international solidarity with TKP/ML, with TIKKO-fighters and the People’s War they wage, and to condemn and to contribute to holding the Turkish fascist dictatorship accountable for its heinous and barbarous crimes.
Turkey is a NATO country who purchase weapons systems from Norway. Norwegian technology may have been used in the bombing campaigns against the revolutionary combatants. It rests a particular responsibility on Norwegian revolutionaries to show unyielding solidarity with the Turkish revolutionary movement.
TKP/ML is the vanguard of the Turkish revolution, of the proletariat, peasants and of all oppressed nationalities in Turkey. The Party declares that the blood of the martyrs will water the revolution, that the People’s War will intensify, that the revolutionary stuggle will continue with undiminished force. Already it has been carried out actions in the capital of Turkey displaying this will. In Europe public meetings to commemorate comrade Rosa and comrade Nubar has been held in tens of cities, meetings gathering hundreds or perhaps thousands of comrades, activists and sympathizers.
The People’s War in Turkey is one of the world’s four People’s Wars. Together they make the axis in the world revolution. Turkey is a bridge between Europe and Asia, and with its 80 million inhabitants, as well as millions of Turks and Kurds from Turkey in Europe, it is a country of vast significance. It also has one of the strongest and most fiercely combative revolutionary movements and traditions in the world.
The revolutionary movement in Turkey, and especially the Turkish proletariats own Party, TKP/ML, must have a uniquely big place in the consciousness and hearts of revolutionaries.
Long live the People’s War in Turkey!
The martyrs live forever in the struggle!
Honor and glory to comrades Nubar, Rosa, Özgür and Asmin!
Stop Norwegian weapons export to Turkey!
Death to the Turkish fascist state!
Long live TKP/ML and TIKKO!
Ali Kemal Yılmaz (Özgür)
Gökçe Kurban (Asmin)
